PADI Scuba Diver in Nusa Penida

Scuba diving training starts with the PADI Scuba Diver course . It is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course . If you're short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver course is for you. Especially if you plan to dive afterwards more often with a dive guide rather than in pairs with another certified diver. It is a good alternative to the baptism of scuba diving because your dives will be recorded. You can therefore complete your training later , at any other PADI dive center in the world, to obtain your PADI Open Water Diver certification.

What can a PADI Scuba Diver do?

PADI Scuba Divers can:

• Dive under the direct supervision of a PADI professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters.

• Get their scuba tank refilled, rent or buy scuba equipment.

• Continue diving training by completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification. And also take some specialized diving courses.

What is the difference between PADI Scuba Diver and PADI Open Water Diver?

An Open Water diver can plan and execute dives with a certified buddy, divemaster or instructor, to a maximum depth of 18m.

A Scuba Diver may only dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional, to a maximum depth of 12m.

Who can take the PADI Scuba Diver course?

To register for a PADI Scuba Diver course (or a Junior Scuba Diver course), you must be 10 years of age or older . You need adequate swimming skills and you also need to be in good physical health. But no previous experience with scuba diving is necessary.

What is the content of the PADI Scuba Diver course?

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:

• Knowledge development to understand the basic principles of scuba diving. This corresponds to the first three of the five sections of the Open Water Diver course.

• 3 confined water dives to acquire basic diving skills. This corresponds to the first three dives out of five of the Open Water Diver course.

• 2 dives in a natural environment to use your skills and explore the seabed. It will take 2 additional dives in a natural environment to obtain the Open Water Diver certification.

Why take your PADI Scuba Diver in Nusa Penida?

With Warnakali, PADI 5 star dive resort , confined water dives are carried out in the center swimming pool , in Nusa Penida , Bali. First in the small pool, then in 3 meters deep . It is therefore a very good way to train in a safe environment . And you will also have the added pleasure of training yourself to dive in an infinity pool with an exceptional view of the sea and Mount Agung!

The natural environment dives take place around the island of Nusa Penida. The dive sites of Nusa Penida are among the most beautiful sites in Bali and even Indonesia. You may even have, if conditions permit, the pleasure of diving with manta rays .

What snorkel gear will you use?

You will learn how to use standard scuba equipment . This includes mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, stabilizing vest and diving bottle. The Warnakali instructors will explain the equipment you will need and offer you other educational documents, such as the dive log. The instructors also have all the necessary safety equipment on board , such as radio and oxygen.

Breathing underwater for the first time is something you will never forget, so don't wait!
